ID Card Update

IMPORTANT PLEASE READ

Please note that starting October 16th all players and team officials are required to have a LIWSA ID card which will be checked by the referee before each League & Cup game. 

Failure to produce the LIWSA ID card will result in the player not being able to participate in the game. Furthermore below are the LIWSA Rules pertaining to ID cards:

 

 

3.3 Player Registration

e)  All players and team officials are required to have a LIWSA photo identification card, which is checked by the referee before each League or Cup game.

Failure to produce the LIWSA ID card will result in the player not being able to participate in the League or Cup game. The team will also be subject to a fine and/or forfeiture of the game

(See Rules 12.3 (k) and 13.5 and 13.6 pertaining to LIWSA ID cards).

                i.  A team will be subject to a fine and/or forfeiture of the game if that team is unable to produce LIWSA ID cards for players and team officials. (See Rules 12.2 (a) and 13.5)

                ii. A grace period of 20 minutes from scheduled kick off will be given to produce LIWSA ID cards for players and team officials before match official has authority to suspend the match.

 

 

12.2 Team Responsibilities

a) Each team must ensure that all players on the team are registered in accordance with Regulation 3.3 which includes possession of valid LIWSA Player ID Cards.

Failure to produce valid LIWSA ID Cards will result in a fine as per Rule 13.5

 

 

13.0 Fines

13.5 A team proven to have played a player that did not provide a LIWSA ID Card (including late arrivals) to the referee will be subject to a $15 fine.

Second offences and all subsequence offences will be subject to game forfeiture and additional fines as determined by LIWSA.

 

13.6 A team proven to have played a player that did not list the LIWSA ID number on the team sheets will be fined $15 per occurrence.

 

14.0 Referees

14.8 The Referee shall check all LIWSA ID Cards prior to the start of the match. The game will not start until ID cards are presented (see rule 3.3/e/ii indicates teams have twenty (20) minutes grace period).

Failure to produce LIWSA ID Cards will result in forfeiture of game and fine as per Rule 12.3 (k). Players without a LIWSA Player ID card or authorizing letter from the Registrar will not be permitted to play.
